This is a fabulous museum. If you are lucky, you will get to meet the founder, Mr. Ralph Hunter. He's full of fabulous information. There are also a number of artist galleries (found object, watercolors) and other shops.

Located in the Noyes Arts Garage, the African American Heritage Museum is a great find. Director Ralph (or one of his assistants) provides an interesting and insightful tour of exhibits highlighting the history and contributions of African Americans in Atlantic City and beyond. Whoopi Goldberg featured this hidden gem on ‘The View’ and she’s right... this museum is a real find!

Did not expect to see such an array of different things. The man running the place - sorry I forgot his name - was very friendly and informed. My only issue was the he was running two different booths and had to keep going back and forth. Will that he could have his location moved to a building by himself. Didn't like the treatment that I witnessed. Would recommend visiting it though to anyone.

This little gem of a museum is located in the Noyes Arts Garage. They've packed a lot of stuff into a limited space, and it's interesting and informative. Great to learn about our history and also ourselves.

What a surprise to find this jewel hidden in the Arts Garage of Stockton College. Packed with a great deal of African American history this museum changes exhibits several times during the year. If you are lucky enough to meet Ralph you will be delighted with stories and his knowledge of history. We are a people with rich culture and history and it was a treat delving into this piece on stereotypes at the museum this afternoon, please check it out when you are in town.
